Summer of Colour I The Big Reveal

Client feedback, we’re mad for it!

We’ve had a feeling over the past few months that our Verandah Collection is in need of a fresh new color so…

We recently ran a completion for our clients to decide for themselves on which should be our new 2017 color. We did a bit of research into color forecasts for 2017/18 and decided to put 5 beautiful tones to the test.

Amarula Yellow, Rust Orange, Midnight Blue, Melon Green and Deep Marsala were the contenders in the running.

Our lucky winner stood the chance of winning a gorgeous round Verandah Collection rug in the color of their choice.

We received wonderful feedback and our top 3 classic colors were as follows :

Taking center stage by leaps and bounds was our personal favorite Deep Marsala, a deep and sensual tone. Followed by Mr Melon Green an earthy little guy and finally magical Midnight Blue, always classic and contemporary.

Our winning client was…drum roll please…Ruben Rossouw from BlockPlan. CONGRATULATIONS again Ruben!

Behind the scenes we already have our bobbins ready to start bobbing up the yarn. But first and foremost, we’re working on perfecting our new colors.

2017 is going to have a colorful start folks! We can not wait to have our new colors in store!

Our pouf woven up in our deep Marsala yarn. Just delicious.

Haldane Martin and the Verandah Collection

So what can we say, nothing more than we’re swollen-chested with pride.

Haldane Martin’s iconic design has just launched two new additions to their already impressive furniture collection (the pebble sofa and pebble coffee table) at Leon CCXIX in Cape Town. And to showcase these striking pieces Haldane and Alison have chosen to do so on our hand-braided teal Verandah Collection rug.

Our hearty thanks to both Haldane Martin and Alison Gray Thomson for the association. We couldn’t be more chuffed.
